In Anjo, we hold soroban classes at two classrooms: 桜井西町教室 (Sakurai-nishimachi), at 桜井西町公民館 (Sakurai-nishimachi community center), and おうせい教室 (Osei), at 桜西公民館 (Osei community center). They are near 桜井小学校 (Sakurai Elementary) and 桜林小学校 (Orin Elementary). Calligraphy classes are held at the same venues on different days, so your child can attend both soroban and calligraphy. Soroban at Kodomo School

Not just a calculation lesson: training in “how to use your head.”

Move the fingers, picture the numbers, keep going to the end. Repeating this builds not only calculation skills but also concentration and the confidence that “if I try, I can do it.” The teacher watches each child’s progress, sets tasks that fit that child, and marks the work on the spot. Grade exams can also be taken at your usual classroom.
