How to write it

Brush tips for

Regular script (kaisho)

  1. In 感, stretch the slanting curved stroke at the upper right long to the lower right and flick up, so the character looks big.
  2. Write 心 (heart) at the bottom of 感 wide, fitting it right below the upper part.
  3. In 動, leave a little space between 重 on the left and 力 on the right, and stretch the left sweep of 力 long.

Semi-cursive script (gyōsho)

  1. In 感, move the brush as if linking the strokes of the upper part, and make the curved stroke at the upper right large and free.
  2. Write the dots of 心 at the bottom lightly and with rhythm, as if they connect.
  3. In 動, link the horizontal lines of 重 on the left as you write. Then sweep 力 on the right broadly to finish the character.
